EASTER!

Easter was really fun this year! We did the Easter basket thing in the morning and then went to church. After church we went home and took care of the chickens and ducks, and cleaned up the house a little bit. The boys played outside for a while, and then we went to my Moms house. We had dinner there, Roast, and the kids did an Easter Egg hunt. They each got 10 eggs which were filled with candy and money. They got bubbles that we blew for a while, and Gage played baseball for like an hour! He is really good at it! Skyler was getting mad while he was playing a game with my Mom, and she has some really funny pictures of him! I will post them when I can get some!

Skyler's Surgery

On April 1st, my baby boy had to have surgery. He got tubes in his ears and his Adenoids taken out. We had to be at Primary Childrens by 9:30am. His surgery was at about 11:30. They have you check in, (give them all your money!) and see a nurse for a little check up before the surgery. The surgery is only about 30 minutes all together. When I went into the recovery room, Sky was groggy and crying! He just wanted to go home and he was hungry he said. He had some Root Beer Slushy, anf the fell asleep for about an hour. We were in the recovery room for about an hour and a half. When he woke up, he had more slushy and we got ready to go home. On the way home he said "I am all better already!" We told him that it would take him time to recover and he had to rest. Minutes later, he threw up all the slushy he ate! He was fine afterwards too. I was having a hard time keeping him down! He didn't want to rest, and he wanted to play outside so bad! It was really hard making him stay inside! The only thing that he has complined about is his neck. He doesnt like you to touch his neck or head since he is afraid that it is going to hurt him. I wish he would move it around more because it is stiff and it will help him feel better. He goes to the doctor for his check up this Friday. He is so tough, and sometimes too tough! He has to be really hurt and sick or he will not rest or take it easy! He is doing VERY good!

Karate

The boys have been in Karate the last month. Gage is starting a new one tomorrow, and Skyler is starting Soccer this Saturday, but I wanted to post a couple of the pictures of them in their old class. It was fun to watch them!

Happy Birthday Dad!

My Dad's Birthday was April 6th. We went over to my parent's house Sunday the 5th, for dinner and Cake. It was us, my sister, my Grandparents, and my parents. We gave my Dad gift cards to Barnes and Noble, Chelsey got him a new swimsuit, and my Mom got him stuff at Cabela's. We also looked at old family pictures, and had a lot of fun talking!


The 6th is also my GREAT friend Angie's birthday! I have to tell her that she is an awesome friend! I have known her since 7th grade, and I love her to death!

Mylo's Birthday!

It was my nephew's birthday in March, and we went to his party in Bountiful. We ate Cake and Ice Cream, he opened presents, and the kids did a pinata. The kids had a lot of fun! Happy birthday Mylo!

Busy, Busy Busy!

So, an update about things going on at our house. Things are actually back to normal now. We have finally gotten a routine down since we are not having so much going on! This is the best routine we have had since I have not had to work. We have had a lot of bad things happen the last few months, but we are doing great now! Skyler is still doing great in Pre-school and Gage is loving Kindergarten. Gage is reading on a level F in school, and the highest level for his grade is a C. He is so smart I can't even believe it! They have both started Karate this month. They have only been twice so far, but they love it! Skyler is going to start soccer in April too. We are going to have our hands full, that's for sure!
