The Xterra is no longer!

So, we found out today that the Xterra is a goner! It is totaled. So, Progressive is paying it off, and we have to get a new loan to get a new car. We are thinking a Honda CR-V this time. We really love the Xterra, and there are a lot for sale right now, but we need something with better gas milage. We were going to replace the Subaru with a car with good gas milage when we paid of the truck. That plan had to change! I know all things happen for a reason, and when I figure this one out, I will let you know! I have no clue why I had to bash into a wall! Later!

Monday at about 11:45am, I was going down the hill to pick up Gage from school. It had just started snowing really hard, white out like, about 20 minutes before. I must have been the first one to turn there, and hit a patch of fresh snow covering ice. It made me slip into the old snow that was bad enough that my brakes didn't work AT ALL! I was going down a hill, on ice, with no brakes, and I think it made me gain speed a little. I probably hit the cement barricade going about 15-20 mph. I could see it coming, and knew it was going to happen. This morning I remember that I was yelling, NO NO NO! The airbags, both of them, deployed, and that sucked! I just jumped out of the car to make sure Skyler was alright, cause he was with me! I just thank God that Gage was not. We hit hard on the passenger side, and thats where he sits. He probably would have gotten hurt if he was there. Skyler was ok. He was just shaken up. I couldn't stop shaking. Thankfully a neighbor lady that we have only met once, stopped and let us sit in her warm car while we waited for police, etc. The paramedics, checked us out and we didn't need to go to the hospital. They told me to go to the doctor, which I have not done yet. I got burns from the airbags on my hands and neck, and the seat belt left a big red mark on my neck too. I hurt REALLY bad today. My chest, and neck are the worst. Here are a few pictures of my poor truck! It is a goner I think! I am so upset! I am in pain physically and mentally! I am pretty depressed! We have only had "our baby" since July! Ugggg! ;(

Silly boys!

So, Angie told me that I needed some new pictures up! Well, this is all I have right now. :) Casey was playing with the boys, and he was wrapping them up in blankets saying that they were Burritos. They loved doing this! So, all day Skyler would tell Casey "Britto," when he wanted to be wrapped up! I was so cute! We have not been doing a whole lot. We have been recycling a cold over and over again here! If we are lucky, this will be the last time!

Christmas was good this year! The boys were so spoiled! I can't even name all the stuff they got or it would take me forever! We (& Santa) only got them about 8 things each, but the Grandma's spoiled them this year! My Mom even said "We probably over did it this year!" We (& Santa) got them the following. GAGE: GI Joe, Lego's, Robot Panda, Little Pet Shop, Cap Gun, A train to go on Skyler's Geo Tracks, Buzz Lightyear, And the one thing that he wanted to most, a Gray Hamster! Santa actually found Gray Hamster's too! SKYLER: GI Joe, Lego's, Robot Panda, Cap Gun, Little Pet Shop, A Thomas the Train set, an extra train to go on the Thomas track, and also a Gray Hamster! Gage named his Cody, and Skyler named his Oreo. They are so cute! They also got a few games to share. As you can see, Skyler's pile is a mess, and its not everything he got. These are the things Santa,Casey and I got them. We went to Grandma Cindy's for a while, and they got puzzles, a Rescue Pet, and a few other things there. After a while there we went home to play with toys, and eat dinner. About 6pm my parents and Sis came over. They got them a castle with a pirate ship and all the accessories, stuffed animals, and more things! Can't even remember them all! We had a good Christmas, and the kids, of course, made out like bandits! I already have great plans for next year! Can't wait!

CHRISTMAS EVE!

Here is a few pictures of Christmas Eve. We went to dinner, looked at Christmas lights around our neighborhood, (since the weather was so bad!) played with the boys remote control cars they got from Grandma Bob and Grandma Nancy, left cookies and milk for Santa (He wanted Oreo's, and Chocolate Milk!) and watched some Christmas shows. Of course I also have to keep the Tradition alive of opening PJ's on Christmas Eve!

My baby sister turned 20 this year! Her birthday is December 26th, but with Christmas the day before, we celebrated it on Sunday the 23rd this year! She got Bath and Body Works from us, a cute knick-knack from my Grandma and Grandpa Merchant, and My Grandpa Heidt and Step-Grandma got her a U of U Blanket. Of course she goes there, so she loved it! My Dad is a BYU fan, so he teased her saying that he was going to use her blanket as a oil rag! It was fun! My Mom also has a dinner for the Grandparents every year right before Christmas, so we had it the same night. We had a great Turkey dinner, with all the trimmings! Yum! Chelsey tried to poke Casey's eye out too! Not really...He was going to take her seat, so she lunged at him to grab his collar and accidentally poked him in the eye, and scratched underneath with her thumb! Here are a few pictures of the fun!
