Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! A day late! Since we have kids, we usually don't get to go out on valentines alone! We went to Red Robin as a family. It was very yummy! I love their Teriyaki chicken burger! Anyways, we went to dinner, and gave the kids their present. I decided that all the candy was a bad idea, so I got them both a big doodle pad, some markers, and some new crayons. They now have these awesome crayons that are in a plastic tube, and you roll out more when it is gone. No more sharpening! Twistables. They are nice. I made Casey a jar with our picture together taped on it, and a little note. Inside the jar are folded up pieces of paper that each say something nice about him. For example, "You are a wonderful Father!" and "You are the best husband I could ask for!" Things like that. If he ever needs a reminder he has the jar and can see all the things he means to me and the kids. Casey also loves Jones Soda. I looked on their web site, and you can send them pictures, and they will make labels with them and put them on the bottles and send them to you. Well, by the time I found that it was too late to do, so I made my own! I printed pictures off the computer, and taped them on the bottles myself! It was not nearly as nice looking, but he liked it. I thought it was a fun idea and I liked doing it. I also got him a card and candy too. He got my a box of chocolates and a ring! I was totally surprised. It was nothing big, and that ok! I loved it! So we had a pretty good night!

Funny Skyler

Tonight Skyler fell asleep in a very funny position. He was watching cartoons with Gage in my bed, and he fell asleep sitting up! He was VERY tired and fighting sleep, and he finally couldn't stand it anymore! He is doing so much better talking too! For you who know, he had tubes put in his ears in February of 2007. He was not talking hardly at all, and he was having ear infection after ear infection. They say that when their ears are bad enough to need tubes, the way they hear things is like they are under water. (Because of all the fluid in their ear drums of course) They do not hear vowels hardly at all. So, poor Sky could hardly hear us for the first two years of his life! Im not sure when they got bad, if not the whole time. He is talking so much better, we notice a difference every week! The new thing is, "WHY?" He still cannot do the G sound. So, Gage is "Shaa" Or something like that. He calls Gum "BA" and today called it "Bum!" It was pretty funny! Anyways, here is a picture of Skyler when we found him asleep in my bed. I will put a video of him on here soon. So you can get the gist of it!

New Phones

Casey and I have finally gotten away from Cricket Wireless! We have been with them for about 4 years now, and we have had enough! Every time I have to call them, they never know what they are talking about, and they tell me different things. Well, we decided to go with T-Mobil, and hope they are better. So far, so good. I got a Motorola Rizr. The picture is the purple/Blue phone. Casey got a Nokia 5300. The black and white one. They have been awesome so far.

New SUV

I am so used to saying truck! I no longer have that and it makes me so sad! :( Today we got our new car. We got a Honda CR-V. It is older, and in great condition, but its just not the same. Usually when you get a new car, you are upgrading. Sadly, we are not....yet at least. We figured we would get something a little older, (which is cheaper!) and better with gas mileage. Honda's are great cars! I had a 1997 Honda Civic when I was younger. It was a wonderful car, but I was expecting our second child Skyler, and a two-door car was not going to do it! So, here it is. I will post better pictures when it is clean! We decided that after this is paid off, we will get another truck. Maybe even another Xterra!

So much Snow!

Sunday morning we woke up to about a foot or more of snow! We were not expecting that! Church was canceled because no one could even get in the parking lot! Casey went out to shovel, and the boys played in the snow. They were out for about an hour, and Casey was out for about 2! He shoveled our driveway and helped the neighbors do theirs. The boys had a lot of fun playing and building a snow man with Dad. I would have gone out, but the cold makes me shiver, and hurts my chest. (Which is hurt pretty bad from my accident.) We have so much snow I don't know where we would put anymore! Afterwards, the boys came in and drank hot coco, as Sky would say, and took a warm bath! I then went to Insta-care to get my chest x-rayed. I wanted to make sure I didnt hurt myself more then I thought. I could have broken my breast bone, but I am good thank goodness! I have just bruised myself pretty bad that it hurts to do things!
