Family Pictures!

One of my best friends Angie did our Family pictures for us a few weeks ago! Here are just a few examples. She did such a great job! She is getting into the Photography business, and I know she will do great! Thank you so much Angie!

Christmas Party! X 3!

Yesterday we had three Christmas parties! The first one was in the morning from 11am to about 12:30. It was with my Brother. We played games and had muffins and things like that. Then we picked up our niece Abi and went to get a few things at the store. Then we were off to the next party. This one was with my Mom's side of the family. From 2-5:30. It was at my Aunt and Uncle's church, and most of my family was there. We had food, the kids had a craft making snowmen, and we played a couple games. Every year, since I was little, we played a game were we have a couple of jars with candy in them and the everyone writes down down how many they think are in there. I provided this game this year. We also have a game called the Candy Bar Game. We roll dice, and if you roll a 7 or double, you get to pick a candy bar. We go around the circle until they are gone. The last time around, you can take from other people. So if someone has something you want, you can take their candy. I am planning the party next year, and I am going to do things differently. I am going to have the older people have their own game, and the little kids have their own game. It will be easier that way. When we left that party, we still had one more! Casey's family party was next. It was from 6-whenever! We ate dinner, the kids opened presents, and they decorated cookies. The adults talked and helped the kids. It was fun too. Sledding!

Since we got dumped on last night and this morning by snow, we decided to go to a nearby park and sled. The boys love it! We couldn't stay long since they both need new snow boots and snow Pants! Here are a few pictures of all the fun we had!

Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! We got to have it at our house, and it was a lot of work, but nice. We like to have family parties and holidays at our house. We hope that we will have our own house soon! It was Casey's mom Cindy. His Brother Jeff. His Brother Brandon, his wife Jennifer and their kids Keenan, Sophie and Sadie. And that night his sister Shal joined us. She had to work due to the fact she works at Primary Children's Hospital and they don't get holidays off. Her daughter Abi was at her Dad's this year, so she could not join us. We ate dinner and told what we are thankful for, and hung out and talked. We ate Pumpkin pie of course, and played Sing Star on the PlayStation. It was great to watch everyone sing and do karaoke! We had a fun time, and as always, it went by really fast! I guess here comes Christmas!

Gage's Birthday!

I am a little behind! Gage's Birthday was November 16th, and he turned 5 years old! He was a lucky boy and got to have three days of fun! On his actual birthday we just had a family night and went to Arctic Circle. We ate dinner and they got to play at the fun land. The next day he got to have a party at Fat Cats with his cousins and friends from school. They Bowled, ate Pizza & cake, and played the arcade games. That was really fun, but a lot of work! We have never done a party like that for him, so it was a first! He got to see his friends out of school, and that was a great thing for him! Then Sunday he got to have yet another party with my side of the family. My parents, My Sister and Grand-Parents. He got a lot of gifts this year! We have spoiled kids! I will have more pictures of the Fat Cats party! I couldn't believe I have TWO digital camera's and a Video Camera and I forgot ALL! I have to buy a disposable one for the party! I was so upset!

HALLOWEEN!

So, tonight was a fun night! Ever since we have had kids to take Trick-Or-Treating, we have gone to my Mom's house. The boys have always gone around her neighborhood. Well, this year we finally trust where we live! We decided to stay home, since the boys wanted to go around our own neighborhood too. The boys went down about 3 streets with Dad, and I handed out candy. Then they stopped here and picked me up, and we all went together. It was fun. We could tell when they were tired when they actually wanted to come home! Grandma Cindy stopped by the visit and see the boys in their costumes. They both looked adorable. They didn't wear the masks outside, but they did wear hats to cover their ears. It was cold! We ordered pizza and watched "The Haunted Mansion" until they fell asleep. After that, I turned it to some scary stuff! Halloween was on of course. We had a fun night! We Love this time of year!

Gage's Class Halloween Party!

On Thursday the 25th, Gage had his Class Halloween Party. He and his friend Colby were both Spiderman. They had to have a picture together! They are so cute! There were three Spiderman costumes there. Of course that is a popular one! Then that night we carved our pumpkins. The kids really got into it this year. Last year we just painted on them instead of carving. We thought we better carve this year! It was fun watching the boys draw the face they wanted on their pumpkin, and Casey cut it out for them. I will have pictures of them finished later! We LOVE this holiday!

Gardner Village!

We went to Gardner Village tonight for the fun Halloween atmosphere! It was the boys, me, my mommy and my aunt Kathy. They have all their witches all over, and they look so awesome! The kids love it the most, and we love the shops! We went to the bakery, the candy store, and the other fun stores. I love the Halloween/Christmas Shop. I got a few new Halloween items that were 25% off. They are really cute. The boys got their faces painted, and they both picked "Jack the Skeleton king" from Nightmare Before Christmas. I wonder where they got their love for that movie? Maybe ME! ;) (It is one of my favorite movies!)It was a really fun night. We went to dinner at Village Inn afterwards. I love Halloween, and being with my family!

SKYLER'S BIRTHDAY

Yesterday was Skyler's Birthday! He is now 3 years old! I cannot believe how fast they grow! He really is into Trains lately, so we got him a GeoTrax Train. It runs on batteries, and has a remote control to move it on the tracks. It has a station and little people that get on the train etc. It was a good choice, since all the Thomas the Train sets are a little advanced for him. We got Gage one a few years ago, and it has been packed away most the time since it is hard to keep together.

Family Party in Nibbly Utah.

Yesterday was a busy day. I have a younger cousin JJ that has been in the military for about 4-5 years. He has not had to really do anything major until now...they are sending him to Iraq in December. So, my aunt and uncle had a party for him at the park in Nibbly where they live. Nibbly is by Logan, and Hyrum. It was about a 1 1/2 drive there and back, but was fun. It was nice to see all my family. They were also celebrating the fact that he recently got married. Her name is Katie, and she seems like a very nice person. We ate fried chicken and other yummy things, and the kids all played at the playground pretty much the whole time!

CRAZY CORN MAZE!

Of course I forgot my Camera again, but we went to The Crazy Corn Maze last night with Ryan and Staci. Ryan's brother Dyllan and his girlfriend Lindsey came along also. First Casey, the kids and I went to dinner at Sampan. That place is GOOD! Then we met them at the maze, and headed in. It was fun to walk around, talk and try to find your way around. The kids had fun. Gage is giving Ryan a run for his money, seeing as he LOVES Staci! We ran into my Cousin Kent there with his girlfriend Brandy. She is a cute girl. We got all 10 punches in our card (which means we found all 10 check points) so we got tickets for a free game of bowling. As we were walking out of the maze, Skyler was so tired that he fell asleep in Casey's arms! So cute! We went home and Gage fell asleep in the car. It was a fun night! I am trying to get all the Halloween fun in as I can!

FUN AT WHEELER FARM!

So, I am adding this almost a week late, but here we go! Last Tuesday, Gage's Pre-School class went to Wheeler Farm for a field trip. It was really fun for the kids. They saw all the animals, and chased a poor chicken around! We even went on the Hayride (- the hay!) pulled by a Tractor. They also feed the ducks, and there were tons of them! The kids ate lunch, and played for a while while us Mother's talked. It was a good time!

Fun with Family

Today we had a full day! Casey went camping with his Brother this weekend, so it was just me and the boy's. We went to my Sister-In-Law Jennifer's to eat lunch and hang out. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and the kids played hard! They love their cousins! Afterwards we went to my Mom's for dinner. We got chicken from KFC and went to the park. The boy's played football with Grandpa for a long time! Skyler is a natural! He has never played before and he knew just how to carry the ball while he was running. They were tackling each other, and getting grass stains on their knees! Then they played on the playground for a while. They had a blast! I unfortunately forgot my camera! It was definitely picture worthy! My parents live in Farmington, so of course the kids were out like lights by the time we got home!

Baby Shower!

Saturday morning I went to my friend Katie's baby shower. It was a lot of fun. It was at Sqwatter's downtown. Katie has been one of my good friend's since we were in third grade. We lived on the same street and played every day until we got older.

Fun at Skye Park!

Last Thursday we went to Skye Park, in South Jordan, with Gage's Pre-School class. They had a lot of fun. Gage is really good friends with Jillet and Colby. He played with Colby the majority of the time. I had fun watching them and talking with Colby's Mom, which is Heather too!

The Pie!

Saturday for lunch we went to the Pie to eat pizza. If you have ever been there you know that they have black brick walls and let people draw and write on them. It was fun to go and actually remember markers so the kids could do it. It was fun for them to be able to write on walls, when they cannot do that anywhere else! :)

Spaghetti anyone?

Tonight the boys and I went to eat at the Old Spaghetti factory with my sister-in-Law Shal, and my niece Abi. We wanted to get together this week, and this was really the only time we could. With work, and all the kids activities, we decided to go to dinner. It is a risky thing taking the kids to dinner all together, but what the heck! We ate, laughed, and talked. Skyler was asleep on the way there, and when we were waiting for Shal and Abi to arrive, he decided to fall asleep in the big chair. It must have been very comfy!

School Time!

I can't believe I did not write about this! Gage started his second year of preschool last week. He attends Sunshine Square in West Jordan. He goes Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am to 12:15pm. He loves it. I love that he gets interaction with other kids his age, and that he is getting used to school now so when he goes to kindergarten he will be ready. This school is great too. He has learned so much, and made so many new friends! Isn't he so cute!

Fun at Grandma's!

Last night we went to my parents house to eat dinner and swim. They have a swimming pool and hot tub! The kids LOVE going to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I do too! We ate roast (which is one of my favorites!) and swam. Afterwards they drew all over with the sidewalk chalk. Chelsey drew a U of U logo, since she goes there, and my Dad could not have that! He drew over it with a BYU since that is his team. It was a fun night. We got to eat, play and talk. I love being with the family!

Dinner at the Gateway

Tonight we went to dinner with our very good friends Ryan and Staci. I used to work with Ryan at Chase when we were both tellers at the Taylorsville branch. We went to the Gateway and ate the California Pizza Kitchen. It took a while to get seated, and we never thought we would get to eat! Ryan saw a pro Football player that he liked and was excited, but in the end didn't get to talk to him. We always have a good time with these two! They are probably the closest friends we have right now. Thanks Ryan and Staci!
