Hike

I had to work a Saturday in July, and so Casey took the boy's on a hike. They went to Little Cottonwood Canyon, Albion Basin. They had a great time, and on their way home Skyler crashed. He was still asleep when they got home, and we had to finally wake him up, so he wouldn't be up all night! Poor Skyler. He went to the bathroom in a port o potty, and his favorite hat, Spiderman, fell in! He wanted to go in after it! Casey had to drag him away screaming and crying for his hat! It was sad to hear him talk about it. It was like he just lost his pet or something!

Bear Lake!

Once again, we went to Bear Lake this year! It is a family tradition, and we decided to have our Family Reunion there this year. Growing up we had a cabin there, but when my Great-Grandma passed away, we lost it. It was very sad, and I miss it a lot! We left in the morning on July 23rd, and stayed until the afternoon on Friday the 25th. We camped at a campground right by the beach in Garden City. (Which is the Utah side) We played games, had meals together, my kids loved playing in the sand, and of course went the the lake. Both of my uncles have boats, so it is really fun. We did tubing, we rented a water weenie, and swam. One of my uncles had a condo there, in Fish Haven (on the Idaho side) and my grandparents and my parents stayed with them. The kids had a blast! On the 24th, they did fireworks and we had a family dinner.

Birthdays!

July 13th was my Mom's birthday. We went to Farmington to celebrate. We had cake and ice cream, and presents of course! We got her flowers and a candle, my Dad bought the new pool liner (Cause the pool in pretty much hers!) and Chelsey got her a huge statue of Christ. It is beautiful!

Then on July 16th, it was my hubby's birthday! I told him that him Mom and Brother were coming over for dinner, but really it was a lot more then that! It was his mom, brother Jeff, Nephew Mylo, Sister Shal, Niece Abi, My brother Josh, and friends Ryan and Staci, Carlos, Jorge and Patty, and Polina. The of course me and the boys! We cooked hot dogs, sang Happy Birthday, talked and played in the backyard. Skyler got him a awesome little leather box, (which if you know Casey, he loves that kind of stuff!) and Gage got him a watch. He was insistent on that! I invited his brother Brandon his wife Jen and their kids Keenan, Sophie, and Sadie, but they couldn't make it. We sure did miss them there! Very fun night!

On the fourth we went to my Mom house for our usual BBQ. We usually swim, but the pool liner was ripped, and they were still waiting for a replacement. The kids did play in the hot tub most the time though! My Dad's side of the family came over, and ate dinner. We did a few fireworks, and watched the ones from lagoon. (Since my Mom lives on the hill right by it) It was fun for the whole family! The day before that we went to the Riverton Carnival. The kids rode a few rides, and the had a movie in the park. We watched "The Bee movie" on the grass, with kettle korn, and drinks. The kids got sun glasses and balloons. It was a good time too! We also went to Rock reek Pizza for dinner. Yum!

Lagoon

I am finally going to post things from the last month or so! I have been to lazy! We went to lagoon at the end of June with my parents and sis. The boys slept over at their house the night before, and she took them to the water park at Lagoon in the morning. Then my Dad and I met them for the rides at about 1pm. Skyler is my little dare devil! He wanted to go on everything! Including the big scary ones! He was too little still for the roller coasters, and he was pretty upset about that! He loved it, but would show NO expression on the the ride! It is funny! Here are some cute pics! I didnt get any on the bigger rides, because I was on it with him!
