Nest

About a month ago, Casey went to help his mom with her car. He opened the hood of our Honda CRV to try to jump start her car. This is what he found when he opened it!


We dont now how the bird fit in there to make this, or when since we drive this car. But here it is! There were about four eggs in the nest, that were broken. Pretty cool! By the way, this nest is NOT little!

THE ROOF

So, we have needed to re shingle our roof since we bought the house over a year ago. We are finally doing it now. We decided that we don't want to have our roof leak or break this winter! Well, Casey is doing it I should say. He started yesterday with his brother Brandon. They worked on it from 10amto 6pm. Today one our Best friends Carlos is helping. Carlos has been Casey's best friend since Jr. High. He wanted to help and thought it would be a good idea to learn how to do it, in case he has to do his roof someday. Casey's brother Jeff came at about 2pm to help finish. They are doing it with NO nail gun, they are hammering every nail in themselves. They finally finished at about 8pm! Thank you everyone that helped! You are SO awesome! I didn't get any pictures yesterday, but I have one from today.
